1. Senigallia (AN)

People with reduced mobility can usually access the beach via ramps with a maximum slope of 8%, making beach entry relatively easy. In general, equipped beach clubs offer accessible toilets and changing rooms.
JOB chairs are not available at every stabilimento, so it is advisable to request one in advance directly from the beach club, which can arrange it if needed.

In previous years, Bagni n. 63 stood out for its particularly high level of accessibility. The beach club provided 8 front-row positions reserved for disabled users, each equipped with:

  • a Sand and Sea chair
  • wheelchair-friendly sunbeds
  • a larger umbrella for increased shade
  • fixed platforms at each position
  • walkways extending to the shoreline, allowing easier access to the water

2. Civitanova Marche (MC)

The municipality has recently acquired a significant number of three-wheel JOB beach chairs, JOB beach walkers, and floating chairs.

This equipment is managed through an agreement with ABAT (Associazione Balneare Aziende Turistiche). The equipment is stored at beach clubs along both the north and south seafront and can be transferred between participating stabilimenti upon request or booking.
Users can access the equipment free of charge, directly through the beach club they are using.

The beach clubs currently participating are: Arturo, Attilio, Batik, Caracoles, Contessa, Federico, Figaro, Filippo, G7, Galileo, Galliano, Gianfrnco, Giovanni e Anna, Hosvi, Ippocampo, La Croce del Sud, Lampara, Lido Cristallo, Raphael Beach, Re Sole, Rolando, Veneziano.

3. Fano (PU)

Fano can be considered a reference point for beach accessibility in Le Marche. The town includes more than 20 accessible beach clubs, equipped with JOB chairs or Sand & Sea chairs, as well as wooden walkways and accessible toilets.

The most recommended area is Lungomare Sassonia. In addition to easier access points and walkways, this area also features an inclusive playground, designed to be accessible to children using wheelchairs.

4. Marina Palmense (FM)

In Marina Palmense, you can find Camping Spinnaker, located directly next to the beach and equipped to meet a wide range of accessibility needs.

The accessible mobile homes (Unità Disabili) feature a comfortable ramp leading to a spacious veranda and entrance door. The generous layout allows guests to move independently, including those using a wheelchair.
Interior spaces are designed to ensure easy circulation, even with mobility aids.

There are no architectural barriers when accessing shared facilities such as the restaurant, theatre, or swimming pool. All services within the campsite are easily reachable.
Accessible units can also be booked just a few metres from the beach, with reserved parking. Beach access is facilitated by a wide wooden walkway.

5. Porto Sant’Elpidio (FM)

Most beach clubs in Porto Sant’Elpidio are equipped with essential accessibility services.

  • Along Lungomare Trieste Nord, the majority of beach facilities feature ramps to eliminate architectural barriers and are equipped to welcome disabled guests.
  • Along Lungomare Europa, at Centro Vacanze La Risacca, JOB chairs are available, and beach access for wheelchair users is guaranteed.
  • Along the central seafront (Viale della Vittoria), all beach clubs provide platforms and step-free access to the beach.

6. San Benedetto del Tronto (AP)

San Benedetto del Tronto is another town with a high number of beaches equipped for disabled users.
Almost all beach clubs provide wooden walkways, adapted toilets, and a JOB chair. If the beach club you choose does not have a JOB chair available on site, it can request one through the local system.

7. Numana (AN)

The coastline includes a barrier-free public beach equipped for people with disabilities, located between beach clubs n. 14 “Cavalluccio di Mare” and n. 15 “Bellariva”.

This accessible beach area is equipped with:

  • reserved parking spaces
  • a ramp and wooden walkway providing access to the beach and extending to the shoreline
  • JOB chairs and JOB walkers
